Before you take admission in d.pharmacy in india you should know about that profession.

                   

(a) A diploma holder in pharmacy becomes a registered pharmacist in india and can work in a pharmacy provided that the college university chosen is registered with PCI(PHARMACY COUNCIL OF INDIA).Therefore the first thing you should do is to check out your institute's affiliation under pci.

(b) It will be a regular course and you should be punctual with your studies.

(C)Becoming a registered pharmacist does not means that you can now start your pharmacy or medical store business.

                 

These are the facts you should know before opting pharmacy as your professional course-

1.You have to apply for a license(retail/wholesale) even if you are a registered pharmacist.

2.It is very difficult now a days to start a pharmacy business. Licenses are given on the basis of population of a particular area.

4.There should be one medical store in population of 4000 people.

5.However population is not considered if you apply for license in a hospital or in front of a hospital(should comply with minimum no.of beds required).

6.You should have a minimum space of 120 sq ft either owned or on rent(in that case a rent deed is required).

7.Should have a refrigerator and a.c in shop.

8.Layout design of premises should be furnished.

If you got your license with your dl no. printed on it then you can start your pharmacy store.

You should have adequate funds to invest in your business to get best profits out of it.
                 

Note -the government can make additional rules or modify it.
